Davis Grismer has a great personality for sales! The entire experience went well. With the car in transit and some uncertainty as to when it would arrive, we were a little on edge (and a little impatient), but Davis navigated the process and communicated well with us - relieving any angst we had. Brendan was great! He went above and beyond to make sure I knew all of my vehicle options. Once I had made my purchase, Brandan took extra time to made sure my husband and I were comfortable, and that we had everything he needed. He even let me use his personal lotion when I mentioned I couldn’t find mine in my bag. Even when our purchase was complete, he took the time to show me several of the features in my new vehicle and offered to take a picture of me with my new (new-to-me) car.
I was so nervous about going to a dealership by myself for a new car, but Anna made the experience amazing! From the beginning, Dana listened to my concerns ... brought in others for explanations ... just a good guy to deal with. And, immediate attention. When I thought I had an issue with the car, Dana, within minutes walked over to the car to checked out my issue ... solved it.
Purchase a 2022 Forester two months back for my Wife and she's loving it. Rides great and looks sharp. Our time at Bloomington Subaru purchasing it could not have been easier. Jared O. got us set up on a couple test drives and answered all of our questions. We had a very minor issue the week after purchasing and Jared got us in right away and everything was awesome. We couldn't be happier with the car or the great service we received!

The service team informed me that my battery was failing their test and should be replaced right away. The battery was 6 months old and had been installed by a shop in SW Mpls. I took it back to that shop where it was tested again and found to be in perfect condition. I called Luther to complain and was told that their tests don't really work on non-Subaru batteries. In other words, they would have been more than happy to replace my perfect good battery for $320 simply because they don't know how to test non-Subaru batteries. This is ... I had a good experience purchasing a new vehicle from Bloomington Subaru. They didn't have the exact car I wanted but traded with another dealer to get it for me. They contacted me after the sale to make sure I was happy and didn't have any issues or questions.

Joe Weil was great to work with when we bought our 2025 Crosstrek. He made the initial contact promptly, learned what we were looking for, and arranged for me to see and buy the car shortly after that. He answered all questions thoroughly, including lots I didn’t know I had! He gave me a very complete demo of the car’s features and walked me through the new safety and infotainment systems. All in all, a great buying experience!
The price of the car I purchased was fixed at a more than fare price. So, there was no painful haggling to be done. He took me on a 20 minute test drive, which I thought was generous. Then, once i decided to purchase, he had me out of there quickly. 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend.

They have a Express Service which I had used in the past which was good but not great due to the time. I went in for a Express oil change on the 25 and was told it could be 2 and a half hours. I left immediately. Exceptionally poor management for not managing wait times. I have a new dealer that provided a very good “Express” service. My new goto.

Nick and Drea were really responsive with communication and worked with me to narrow down several vehicles to one. The facility and lounge are great. The dealer was able to work with my bank being closed on a Saturday. Make sure the vehicle you are interested in is ready and on the lot before arriving.

2 and a half hours for Express Service. Waste of my time and I will NEVER bring my vehicle to a Luther dealership again, I actually called and asked but was told "No, you don't need an appointment" When you use the word "express" you would think they looked it up or had some idea as to it's meaning. Not a hint of intelligence here.
My car broke down between Chicago and St. Louis on a Sunday and even though this dealership was busy, they had me back on the road by Monday evening! They listened to my concerns and gave me quick and effective service. They were also very good at communication and giving me lots of updates on the repairs on my car!

I recently brought my Outback in for service - Shawn is a great explainer - breaks down technical info into bite-size steps to ensure I understand the connection between a mechanical issue, its root cause, and recommended repairs. Also, he's patient answering questions and quite knowledgeable! I highly recommend him.
Bought a used 2020 outback from them. Nyima helped us, seemed inexperienced but willing to help. Rust was our finance guy, he was very arrogant and condescending. He kept pushing for us to buy the warranty even though we said no. He lowered the price for us (which I’m sure is a tactic he uses on everyone) and we still said no and then laughed at us saying “Don’t come crawling back when you change your mind.” Word for word. Absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional.
