Michael Dao in the service department is the absolute GOAT. Extremely communicative, very quick response times, and really going above and beyond to help. He was excellent at breaking down information for me to make sure I understood everything that was going on, while also being transparent about the need to take my car to a different collision center location for complete repairs. He was also wonderful and patient while working with my insurance. Working with Michael was easily the best service center visit I've ever had, and he deserves all of the praise he receives in these reviews.

Wow, having my car maintenance done at Subaru in Bloomington Mn was by far the best experience I’ve ever had anywhere, the waiting lounge was filled with snacks and beverages, ports to charge the phones, very comfy chairs for the sometime very long wait. My service advisor was very transparent and took the time to clearly explain what was recommended and why, giving me the information I needed to make the right decisions for my vehicle. What I appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure. I had been keeping an eye out for a 2025 Subaru outback with low mileage as the 2026 model neither of us liked. We bought a 2016 Subaru outback new which had 80k miles on it and wanted to trade up. When I spotted one it was located at Luther in Bloomington. I looked at the sales staff and read their profiles and Alan was my first choice. He has been doing this work for some time. He is Professional, kind, a good listener -friendly, and he answered my call right away on the first ring. I would recommend him 100%.

We drove the hour and a half from Wisconsin to get a car from Michelle Town. She made me feel comfortable and not at all pressured over the phone. When we got to the dealership, she let us look at the different models and priced them for us. She also made sure we understood all the controls in our new car before we left. We went in with independent financing but they still looked and got us financing at HALF the interest rate we had! If the time ever comes we need a new car, we’re going to make the drive again!

Anna made my car buying experience so chill! I hadn't bought a car in a decade so I was tentative going in to the experience, but Anna really made me feel at ease. She doesn't hold back the truth and looks out for your best interest from the start. I deeply appreciated having her guide me through the process again and will be recommending her to anyone looking for a new car!

Everything went fine. Serviceman was pleasant.

Ellie was a joy to work with. I did not feel like she was putting a sale over my wants and needs. She thought outside of the box to provide me with the experience I needed.

Fantastic purchasing experience. My sales person, Nick Kreuer, was professional and accommodating, I would recommend him for anyone in the market. He was never pushy or aggressive and listened to my concerns Overall, I had a great experience at this dealer.

Kear Dahle was a very nice person to do business with. Asked what I was looking for. We talked for a while and then he got p an Outback for me to test drive. Explained things about the car before and after the test drive.

Our recent purchase of a 2026 Outback Wilderness from Bloomington Subaru was probably the best experience I've ever had purchasing a car from a dealer. And that's saying something, because I will be 63 in a few weeks and switch out my cars every 3-5 years, usually preferring new cars. I've never owned a Subaru before, and hadn't really even considered one until we were at the dealership on a spur of the moment stop. We'd already ordered a Toyota 4Runner and were just waiting for the delivery to that dealer. What changed our mind? Well, it started with the two guys who happened to be sitting at the front desk, Jose and Sam. I didn't even know they were sales guys at first. We were just talking about cars we liked. They had a youthful, exuberant and earnest kind of energy. They both came with us on our test drive--talking incessantly about the various features and benefits of owning a Subaru and what they could do. We liked them and the Subaru enough that I decided to go home, get my trade-in car and come back to get a price on the trade-in. I went home for several hours, did a bunch of research on the car at Consumer Reports and other places, saw the high ratings and reviews for the car, and went back. I asked to take the Outback Wilderness on an off-road drive. Another Sam (now Sam 1 and Sam 2) offered to help. So, the “two Sams” got in one Outback Wilderness, and we got in another (with Jose) and went down to the Minnesota River Bottoms and drove around an old gravel pit site (I think) and got a taste of its Off-roading capabilities. It was a blast! The trade-in offer was fair, no fuss or muss. The price on the new car was also fair, they also honored the extra $500 off from Subaru for my being a medical provider (also applies to teachers and military), even though they could have tried to deny it because of the other deal they gave me and we were doing a dealer trade to get the color I wanted. Again, shout out to Noah (sales manager) for a no-nonsense negotiation. ' The one minor downside of the buying experience is that we had to wait quite a long time to get through the "financing" process (even though we weren't financing at all). They were apparently short staffed so we sat with Jose and Sam for a very long time--at least they made it a less boring time. Also, the finance guy, Dylan, didn't do one of those drawn out strong-armed warranty speeches. He told us our options quickly, and let us decide without any pressure. Thanks Dylan! Thanks Jose, Sam 1, Sam 2, Noah and Dylan. We had a really nice time buying our new (and first) Subaru from your dealership! Here's to hoping our new (and first) Subaru is as good an ownership experience as the purchase experience has been.

Last weekend we bought a Subaru Forester from Henry Finch. The whole process was super easy. Henry and I communicated about what I was looking for. There were lots of options to choose from. He was very good about responding and when we came to buy the car, he was knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend Henry and this dealership.

I purchased a car at a different dealership and had the worst experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. I called here to Luther Bloomington Subaru to look at the car I purchased (to make sure I didn't get a lemon), and I was connected to Alex A. in the service department and he genuinely went above and beyond to help me. I truly felt like he advocated for me when dealing with the dealership I had a bad experience at! I'm beyond thankful for the integrity and compassion I received here and will 100% be returning for my future service needs. Additionally, even though I ended up purchasing elsewhere, I test drove some vehicles here with Zach B. here and have massive regrets not purchasing from here with him. He is honestly, the best car sales person I've ever dealt with. Guys and gals, go to Zach to purchase. I didn't get old school sleezy car sales vibes from him. He was respectful of everything I told him and he was super down to earth and realistic. Next time I buy a car, if Zach is still at this dealership, I'll for sure be reaching out to him. When I arrived, I was told they probably couldn’t get to it until Monday, but gave me a brand new Outback to drive until my repairs were done. Very nice! They fixed my air conditioning and did a thorough inspection which showed a recall I hadn’t known about - they fixed that, too (no charge), replaced a lightbulb and gave my car a good wash. They also accepted a discount coupon I found on their website which was very helpful. John Larson was great to work with - kept me updated with text messages. Highly recommend!

Anna 's expertise finding the right used car for us was invaluable! She frequently updated us about where the car was in its multi-point inspection process and was transparent about any repair issues being fixed before it was ready . This was my second time leasing a car from them! My first time doing business with Davis, but he made me feel very comfortable and welcomed:) Bobby the sales manager went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and all of my concerns were taken care of. I’ve met with Dylan the finance manager my previous lease and he was just as pleasant as the first time. Having to go in for anything car related can feel like a hassle and make me uncomfortable, but this location makes it feel less like a chore, thankfully.

Luke is an absolute dynamo, youthful, bright and personable. He really knows the product line and the differences between the offerings Subaru manufactures. He is dedicated to the customer making the right choice. He explained everything we had questions about as we determined which model was the best for us.

We enjoyed working with Michelle Town, who sold us our Subaru Uncharted. She was friendly and helpful, making short work of the many details involved in purchasing and understanding a new electric car. The follow-up meeting, known in Subaru marketing lore as "Love Encore," was welcome, as replacing a 14-year-old gasoline-powered car with a new electric vehicle festooned with technology can raise questions.
